Bright, high-ceilinged artist's loft on a quiet stretch of Troutman, two blocks from the Jefferson St L. The room is the larger of the two bedrooms — big enough for a queen bed, a proper desk, and a garment rack — with an east-facing window that gets genuinely good morning light (north-facing studios, eat your heart out). The apartment itself is a real Bushwick loft: exposed brick along one wall, concrete floors we've softened with rugs, and a big shared common space that's currently half living room, half studio. There's a freight-elevator building vibe but it's a normal walk-up, third floor. Kitchen was redone last year — full-size fridge, gas range, dishwasher (a Bushwick miracle), and enough counter space to actually cook. About the household: it's me (painter, mostly work from a studio nearby so I'm out most days) and one other roommate who's a sound engineer with the most considerate headphone habit you've ever seen. We're tidy without being weird about it, we split a cleaning rotation, and we're the kind of household that says hi and shares the occasional dinner but isn't going to guilt you for wanting a quiet night in. The neighborhood needs little introduction — you've got Roberta's, Mominette, and half the good coffee in north Brooklyn within a ten-minute walk, Maria Hernandez Park for runs, and the L to Manhattan in about 25 minutes door to Union Square. Utilities (gas, electric, fast fiber internet) run about 0-80/month split evenly. Looking for someone on a 6+ month timeline, 420-friendly, no pets right now only because our lease is stubborn about it. Come by for a coffee and see if it's a fit.
